UPDATING TO 3.0 net2phone Canada's iPhone 3.0 version requires iOS 13 and up to run as intended. NEED CALL RECORDING? Call recording is enabled per device, not extension. If you need call recording set up on your secondary devices (i.e., softphone or mobile app) please call our Support Team by dialing 611 from any net2phone Canada device. Use the Mobile App for SMS! You can now use the mobile app for SMS messaging. BEST PRACTICES Get the best connection with the app by following these best practices. The app will always work best with a stable Wifi connection; however, if your WiFi connection is weak, LTE will be better. Similar to a regular mobile phone connection, while in transit, sometimes the app will not work as well because the connection bounces off multiple towers. Check out how to switch from the app to your mobile phone (at the bottom of the page) to see if that helps your connection. If your mobile dies, the app will automatically disconnect. Simply reopen the app when your mobile device is turned on again to reconnect. TRANSFER A CALL 1. While on a call, press Transfer. 2. Choose either "Assisted Transfer" or "Blind Transfer." NOTE: Assisted transfers, also known as consultative transfers, give you the opportunity to introduce the call before sending the transfer through. Blind transfers will send the caller directly to their intended recipient. 3. Enter an extension or 10 digit number. 4. Press the green call button. NOTE: If you want to return to the original caller and end the transfer, press the maroon bar at the top of the screen that says "Touch to return to call." CONFERENCE CALLING (THREE-WAY CALLS) While on a call, press addcall. Call an extension or 10 digit number to conference in. Press merge calls. NOTE: You can see which call is currently on hold at the bottom of the screen.
