What is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a multi-authentication process that strengthens your access security by requiring two methods to verify a user’s identity. 2FA protects your business from cyber phishing, social engineering, and direct-password attacks.
Generally, 2FA is set up as “something you know” plus “something you have.” Something you know would be your net2phone username and password, and you have an email or smartphone, which you can use to provide the second authentication.
Recommended Authentication Apps
Before enabling 2FA in SONAR, download a secure authentication app on your smartphone.
TOTP Authentication uses an authenticator application to generate TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) authentication codes.
